You know the old saying, "If life hands you a lemon--make lemonade." Well, that's sorta what we did with this dogwood tree that stands at our front door. This was a beautiful tree until the ice storm in December 2007. The storm took half of the tree. Kurt refused to cut the rest of the tree down. It is so unbalanced! He decided we'd put a bird house on the upper stump that was left. I suggested we use this BIG house I bought at a craft show in Arkansas. So this was our lemonade!
