Homegoing. . .

Today we attended the funeral of Kurt's first cousin, Marlene Foreman, in Oaks, Oklahoma. We were able to visit Marlene in the hospital at Tulsa just last Thursday. We had a good visit with her and were so happy to know she was ready to go. Not that she was expecting to die, but she had a real testimony and seemed so happy that Kurt had come to see her. She passed away last Saturday morning.

Her funeral was very well attended, which showed how much she was loved by her friends and family. It was almost almost like a family reunion!

This is a picture of Dora, Marlene's daughter, with her daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughters. Dora sang at her mother's service and she and her oldest granddaughter sang at the grave side. The service was really beautiful.

This is Waite (Kurt's first cousin) with his daughter Venessa with Kurt. Venessa is so beautiful!

This is Kurt with Waite and anther first cousin, Short, (Mack Foreman's son).

This is Margie (another first cousin), with Marlene's son, and Kurt.

This is Floyd Forrest (Chester Forrest's nephew, and also a son of Marlene), along with Lou (this is a sister of Mary Foreman--she really looks like Mary!

This is Maxine (Patsy's daughter) and Margie.

This is Chris Forrest and his sister Nikki. Chris is a policeman in Tulsa.

This is Bruce and Holly Davis. This was the first time we had the opportunity to meet Holly. She seems like a really sweet lady.

It was so good to see everyone.

Enjoyed the pictures--Margie really reminds me of Mildred. Speaking of Mildred, do you have any pictures of the "Salesman Incident?"
