The Hot Tub Saga

On Thursday afternoon, Kurt and I drove to Springfield to see about purchasing a hot tub. We found a really good buy on one, so we had it loaded in our pickup. It was standing on its side on a pallet. We had planned to get some guys together on Saturday to help unload it. Much to my surprise when I got off of work today, Kurt already had it almost off the truck by himself! He decided he and I could get it unloaded.

Kurt had it tied off to a tree.

He then tied a rope around the tub. . .

It went from there to being propped up also with a couple of 2 x 4's. We soon realized that we just couldn't do it! We made an emergency call to our good friend, DeWayne Kirkpatrick. He was like Superman to the rescue. He quickly figured out what we needed to do, and in short order he and Kurt had it unloaded!

What a relief to see it on the ground. DeWayne has agreed to wire it in for us. DeWayne really can do "anything in the world!"

Until later . . .
Shirley
