I finally found a few minutes to do a couple of scrapbook pages. As you can tell from an earlier post, Kurt and I have been devoting a lot of time to working outside. We're still working on the mess left by the December ice storm. We're not nearly finished, but we're making progress.
All of the flowers and trees were damaged by a late freeze in the spring of 2007, but it seems as if they're trying to make up for it this year. We have had just the right amount of moisture and the flowers and trees are really beautiful this year.
I have several bird feeders out and we have enjoyed them so much this year. We've seen birds we've never seen before at our feeders. We have out two finch feeders and there are usually upwards of a dozen most anytime you look out.
The following picture shows a kind of blue bird on the feeder on the right. We don't have a clue what it is. It is completely that dark blue all over--even the breast. Sure not our Eastern Bluebird.
