Kurt has been working on what he calls "our south 40" trying to get all the wood cut and stacked that was down because of the December ice storm. The following picture shows part of the Red Oak wood that he has cut. He calls this our "good wood." 
These blocks shown below are also Red Oak. We have another large tree that came down and Kurt plans to rent a log splitter and then we'll add all of this to the wood pile.
We have several stacks of wood like this below. Kurt says this isn't the best wood. It burns up really fast, however, it is still good enough to burn in the fire place. 
The good Lord has provided us wood for a long time.
