Today I bought flowers to place on Eldon Higganbotham's grave. Eldon was a dear friend of ours who we got to take care of for several years. Since he had no immediate family to care for him, we gladly took on this. Eldon was such a positive, cheerful person and he was a real joy to be with. Our family adopted him and he was just one of us--for anything we were doing--holidays, birthdays, school programs, etc. Eldon served in World War II. We still miss him! Eldon passed away on December 15, 2002, at the age of 90. 
The wind was blowing so hard today that as soon as I placed them in the vase, the wind started rearranging them.
